Launch draft -- not attorney-reviewed

This document is a plain-language launch draft. It has not been reviewed by a licensed attorney and does not constitute a comprehensive legal privacy notice for every jurisdiction. Before a real commercial launch, have it reviewed by qualified counsel, particularly if you serve users in jurisdictions with specific data-protection statutes.

1. What we collect

We collect the minimum information needed to run your account and the product:

  • Account details: email address and authentication credentials (managed by Supabase Auth).
  • Onboarding preferences you choose to provide: primary use case, industries of interest, US jurisdictions, and opportunity categories -- used only to personalize your dashboard and default filters.
  • Product usage needed to enforce plan limits: counts of CSV exports, saved searches, and alerts, tied to your account and the current billing period.
  • Billing metadata: your Paddle customer and subscription identifiers, and subscription status. We never see or store your card number -- that is handled entirely by Paddle.
  • A small set of internal product events (for example, "signed up," "viewed pricing," "started checkout") used to understand which parts of the product are actually used. These events never include the content of your searches or filters.

2. What we don't collect

We do not collect personal contact information about third parties -- no individual names, emails, or phone numbers for the companies RegDemand surfaces. We do not use invasive third-party advertising trackers, and we do not sell your data to data brokers or advertisers.

3. How we use it

Your data is used to operate your account, enforce the limits of your plan, evaluate saved-search alerts, generate CSV exports you request, and understand product usage in aggregate so we can improve the service. We do not use your saved searches or filter criteria for any purpose other than serving your own account.

4. Who processes it

We use Supabase for authentication and application data storage, and Paddle for payment processing. Both are contractually bound processors and do not use your data for their own marketing purposes.

5. Data retention

We retain account and usage data for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your subscription, your account and historical data are retained so you can continue using the Free plan; you may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time.

6. Your choices

You can review and update your onboarding preferences at any time from your account settings, disable individual alerts, and delete saved searches you no longer want.
